Tree Permits

Are you planning to remove a tree from your backyard? Whether it is for safety purpose or to boost the aesthetic appeal, tree preservation plans, and/or a tree cutting, a permit to injure or remove trees is necessary. Count on the professionals at Arbor Care Tree Service Inc. when you need a tree permit. The private tree by law to request a permit to remove a tree for preservation must be done by an arborist. Right from filling the application and making a report to payment and submission, we handle everything professionally. Our services are available to residential and commercial customers in Mississauga, Toronto, and Oakville.

Permits differ from places to places. For example, in Toronto, a permit is required to remove any tree of 30cm diameter or more. But in Mississauga, you are currently allowed to remove up to four trees of any diameter in a calendar year. Significant trees on private property or city streets are protected under Municipal Code, Chapter 813, known as the Tree Protection By-law. The arborists at Arbor Care Tree Service Inc. are certified and knowledgeable to handle this process efficiently. We are familiar with all the local bylaws, which helps us assess your situation and provide a favourable plan. If you have any questions, please contact us.
